Protesting Israeli President Shimon Peres, War Criminal

CODEPINK and friends in the community gathered in front of the White House to protest the awarding of the Presidential Metal of Freedom to Shimon Peres, Israeli President. Why award Peres the Metal of Freedom while Palestine remains under occupation and far from free?

Participants took turns speaking out against Peres and President Obama. This was followed by a series of chants, including "Free Free Palestine!"
